I am an emerging Toronto based artist who uses the medium of encaustic in my paintings. I fell in love with encaustic because of its enormous versatility. I use this versatility to allow my work to reveal itself through techniques including layering, scraping, and dripping.
I am unveiling my second body of work, Islands of Integration at my first solo art show on May 6th, 2012. Islands of Integration builds on my first body of work, Islands of Healing. While Islands of Healing expressed an interior process of transformation, Islands of Integration explores the integration of my transformation into my outer world.
